Refund policy

Deposits and balance payments

Cinema seating orders require a 50% deposit at the time of order. MicroWall orders require a 30% deposit at the time of order. The remaining balance is payable when we notify you that your products are ready for dispatch, delivery or installation. We must receive cleared payment of the full balance before the products are dispatched, delivered or installed.

Your right to cancel

For most products bought online or by telephone, you have the legal right to change your mind within 14 days of delivery. We do not restrict your statutory cancellation rights. If your order is delivered in separate deliveries, the 14-day period runs from the day you, or someone you nominate, receives the last delivery.

To cancel, please email sales@cinemadeco.com with your name, address, order number, telephone number and email address.

Returning products

Unless we agree to collect the products, you are responsible for returning products to us in appropriate packaging and within 14 days of telling us that you wish to cancel. We will provide the appropriate return address when you contact us.

You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. You should not use, install, modify or handle products beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in value caused by handling beyond this.

Collection service

If you do not have access to appropriate delivery methods, we may offer a collection service. If you choose to use our collection service, we will confirm the collection charge before arranging collection.

Refunds

We will refund sums due to you using the method you used for payment unless we agree another method. Where you are exercising a change-of-mind cancellation right and have not used our collection service, refunds will be made no later than 14 days after the day we receive the product back from you or you provide evidence that you have sent it back.

Where applicable, the maximum refund for standard delivery costs will be the cost of the least expensive delivery method we offer. Additional costs for enhanced delivery or installation services may not be refundable where the service has been provided.

Faulty or misdescribed products

If a product is faulty, misdescribed or not of satisfactory quality, your statutory rights are not affected. Please contact us at sales@cinemadeco.com as soon as possible so that we can assess the issue and arrange the appropriate remedy. This may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty, misdescribed or unsatisfactory goods.
