A single Knightsbridge seat measures approximately 1,000 mm wide, 970 mm deep and 1,050 mm high. When fully extended, its depth is approximately 1,620 mm. Its wall-hugging mechanism requires only around 250 mm of clearance behind the seat, helping maximise the available floor space. Allow additional room for walkways, side access and comfortable movement around each row.

Knightsbridge can be supplied as a single seat, loveseat, daybed or straight row of two to five seats. You can also choose from premium top-grain leathers, luxury fabrics and a wide selection of colours. The standard dual-motor system provides powered headrest adjustment and powered control of the combined backrest and footrest position. The integrated butterfly control also includes USB-A and USB-C charging and a return-to-home button. An illuminated cupholder upgrade adds seat heating, drinks cooling and integrated control functions.

Yes. When a Cinema Deco seat is ordered in leather, every upholstered leather surface – including the rear and other less visible areas – is genuine premium leather. We do not use faux leather, PU leather, bonded leather or leather-match materials. This avoids the inconsistency in appearance, feel and ageing that can occur when genuine leather is combined with synthetic substitutes on the same seat.

Full-grain leather retains the hide’s completely uncorrected outer surface and is valued for its natural variation. For luxury upholstered seating, however, carefully selected top-grain leather offers an excellent balance of softness, durability, consistency and everyday practicality. Its surface is lightly refined to achieve a more even appearance while retaining the character, strength and richness of genuine leather.

Both are premium materials, but top-grain leather is particularly well suited to producing consistently finished seating across multi-seat cinema installations.

Both Nappa and Dakota are premium top-grain leathers. Nappa has a smoother grain and a softer, more supple feel, giving it an elegant and refined appearance. Dakota has a more pronounced grain and a slightly firmer, tactile character that is particularly practical for frequently used family cinema rooms. Neither option uses leather-match or synthetic material on the rear of the seat.

The best choice depends on your preferred texture, appearance and how the room will be used.

Yes. Knightsbridge is particularly well suited to dedicated private cinemas and generously proportioned media rooms where its architectural form can become part of the room design. Its wall-hugging recline helps reduce the space required behind each row. For compact rooms or a more sofa-inspired appearance, another model may offer more suitable proportions or configurations.

Knightsbridge seating is handmade to order, with an estimated delivery time of 10–14 weeks. Cinema Deco currently provides a 10-year warranty on the wooden frame and structure, five years on the metal mechanism, and three years on the upholstery and electric motors. Final lead times can vary according to configuration, upholstery and bespoke detailing, so these should be confirmed when ordering.
