SEATING CONTROLS GUIDE

Your comfort. Your controls.

Understand how your seat moves, explore the control options and see how we keep everything within reach – even when there’s no arm between seats.

01 / Standard Butterfly Control

Two movements – one comfortable position

With dual-motor recline, the backrest and footrest move together, while the headrest tilts independently.

The arm-mounted Butterfly Control puts adjustment, USB-A and USB-C charging, and return-to-home within easy reach.

Included as standard where specified on your seat model.

02 / Triple Motor Upgrade

Fine-tune each part of your recline

Adjust the backrest, footrest and headrest independently to find your preferred viewing position.

The three-way controller adds a memory function, alongside USB-A and USB-C charging and return-to-home.

Available on selected models. Check your seat’s upgrade options.

03 / ILLUMINATED CUPHOLDER UPGRADE

Comfort controls right at your fingertips

Combine dual-motor seat adjustment with seat heating, drink cooling and an illuminated cupholder.

USB-C charging and return-to-home are integrated into the controller, keeping the functions together on the arm.

Available on compatible seats with the appropriate arm configuration.

04 / SEATS WITHOUT AN ARM BETWEEN THEM

Still in complete control with no dividing seat arm

When seats sit together without an arm between them, chrome touch-sensitive buttons are positioned down the side of the seat base, in the gap between the seats.

Discreetly placed. Easy to reach.

  • 4 buttons for dual control: The backrest and footrest move together. The headrest moves separately.
  • 6 buttons for triple control: The backrest, footrest and headrest each move independently.

Seat Controls FAQs

What is the difference between dual-motor and triple-motor recline?

With dual-motor recline, the backrest and footrest move together, while the headrest adjusts independently. Triple-motor recline gives you separate control of all three, so you can adjust your backrest without changing your footrest position.

Which seat controls are included as standard?

Where specified, the Standard Butterfly Control is included with your seat. It provides dual-motor adjustment, USB-A and USB-C charging, and a return-to-home button. The controls fitted depend on your seat model and layout.

What does the heating/cooling cupholder upgrade add?

This upgrade combines dual-motor seat controls with an illuminated cupholder, drink cooling and seat heating. It also includes USB-C charging and a return-to-home button. Availability depends on your chosen seat and arm configuration.

Where are the controls when there is no arm between seats?

Chrome touch-sensitive buttons sit down the side of the seat base, in the gap between the seats. Dual-control seats use two buttons; triple-control seats use three. This keeps the controls within reach without needing an arm between each seat.

Can I save my favourite seating position?

The Triple Motor Upgrade includes a memory function for saving your preferred recline position. It also has a return-to-home button. Check your chosen seat’s available upgrades for compatibility.

Are all control upgrades available on every seat?

No. Compatibility depends on the seat model, motor system and seating layout. Your seat’s product page shows the available upgrades. If you are planning a layout with seats joined without arms, contact us for help choosing the appropriate controls.
